Conducted by Sensiba San Filippo LLP, a nationally-recognized CPA firm registered with the Public Company Accounting Oversight Board, this rigorous, independent assessment of internal security controls affirms that Banyan’s information security practices, policies, procedures, and operations meet the SOC 2 Trust Service Criteria for security, availability and confidentiality.
Developed by the AICPA, SOC 2 is an extensive auditing procedure that ensures a company handles customer data securely and in a manner that protects the privacy of the organization and its customers. SOC 2 is designed for service providers storing customer data in the cloud.
A SOC 2 Type I report describes a service organization’s systems and whether the design of specified controls meets the relevant trust services categories at a point-in-time. Banyan Hills Technologies’ SOC 2 Type I report did not have any noted exceptions and therefore was issued with a “clean” audit opinion from Sensiba San Filippo LLP.
