Banyan Hills Technologies Selected as Best Tech Startup Finalist in 2019 Timmy Awards
Tech in Motion announces top local tech companies and launches public voting to determine winners
ATLANTA, September 12, 2019 – Tech in Motion has recognized Banyan Hills Technologies as a finalist for 2019 Best Tech Startup as a part of the Annual Timmy Awards, which they host to celebrate the top workplaces for tech professionals. The Timmys finalists in this category are chosen for their innovation, forward-thinking leadership and work environment. Two Best Tech Startup awards will be announced at a live ceremony this October, one for Judge’s Choice and one Community Favorite, chosen by public voting here online.

Banyan Hills Technologies was founded in 2013 by Steve Latham, an Internet-of-Things (IoT) expert with more than 20 years of technology and industry experience. The company started on the simple premise of helping customers solve for the complexities of IoT, and within only a few years brought to market Canopy, its end-to-end IoT platform. In its next phase of growth, the company is building out an IoT marketplace with an ever-expanding library of business applications and device integrations.

Aside from Best Tech Startup, the other award categories include: Best Tech Manager, Best Tech Work Culture and Best Tech Workplace for Diversity.
